Tsuyu and Midoriya are both clever heroes who use strategy to solve most of their problems. His enthusiastic trust in Midoriya leads him to 'break' his own strict rules when Bakugo is captured, compelling him to join the squad to save Bakugo despite earlier arguing against it.
In the case of Iida, he possesses a great amount of trust in Midoriya following the Stain fight, where Midoriya helped pull him out of a particularly low point. Of particular note are Tenya Iida and Tsuyu Asui, who are both very close to Midoriya. There are numerous other members of Midoriya's close squad of friends who might also be contenders for Midoriya's heart.
